Cryotherapy for enhanced fitness and sporting performance

We all want to avoid costly vet visits and keep our animals and our own bodies performing at their best but therapy isn’t always at the forefront of our minds. Therapy although known foremost for “treating and healing” can also be a great form of preventative care and is fast becoming part of animals wellness regimes.

Cryotherapy has been used for more than 20 years by strength and conditioning coaches, sports scientists and elite athletes to shorten recovery times and increase performance, treatments takes minutes but the impact is immediate and now we are able to provide this for our animal athletes too!

After strenuous athletic effort when an animal or person has worked hard , capillaries that serve the muscles , tendons and ligaments expand to provide the necessary blood flow. When this strenuous activity ends this excess flow can continue allowing unnecessary fluid and enzymes associated with inflammation, this can cause soreness and stretching Issues which can lead to stocking up both in shot and long term, cryotherapy can help prevent these issues.

Using cryotherapy in between competitions or events can speed recovery and achieve greater results due to a higher pain tolerance, more energy, greater range of motion and greater flexibility.

The quicker the recovery the harder you can train, the harder you can train the better they will be!
